On September 22,
1990 I was driving in San Angelo, Texas.
21 years of age and a project manager for a
construction company.
I had come to the conclusion
after a year of working 6 to 7 days a week, 10 to 12
hour days, that if this is what it took to be
successful, I didn't care to kill myself.
That evening I felt
God say to "go." The next day I
told my boss I was quitting and going to serve the
Lord for a year. I went to Pleasant Hills
Children's Home. January 1, 1991 I moved in
with a guaranteed salary of $125 a month.
After 4 months of no money, I was tired, didn't
like kids, and it wasn't what I thought it would
be. Praying about the situation and kicking
the ground one day, I kicked some hay and under it
was an old oak gate. God said, "Make
picture frames." I started with 5
frames and $70. Today we make 10,000 to 12,
000 frames per month. "To God Be The
Glory"
